Profile     New player in the market of natural stone A new heavy hitter within the production and sale of natural stone has entered the market in Denmark. As of 1 April 2011 the companies TR Granit A/S and Stenex A/S will merge. The merged entity will be a part of the DS Europe Group which is headquartered in Noerre Snede. It will be the largest supplier of interior as well as exterior natural stone in Denmark and will be the only producer of the unique and highly requested granite of Bornholm. A new exciting initiative is the Stone Italiana recomposed stone. Recomposed stone is stronger than granite, almost stain resistant and water repellent. Slabs and tiles are produced from recomposed quartz with inserts to create a distinct look. Due to the numerous colours available, recomposed stone creates an aesthetic and distinguished innovation within natural stone. In addition, we import and process various granites, marbles, slates, travertines, limestones and sandstones. In order to achieve the best results, we employ experts and highly skilled craftsmen who are fully equipped with the latest machinery. Constant investments in devices and contemporary machinery ensure higher quality products and a significant reduction in delivery time, which are absolute key requirements today. Stenex distributes natural stone to all sorts of buildings and constructions. Natural stone is supreme for a wide range of applications from exterior cladding and flooring to interior design. Also works of art and decoration of buildings or monuments are often carried out in natural stone.
